Roswitha von den Drisch (* 1964) and Jens-Uwe Dyffort (* 1967) live in Berlin and have worked together since 1996.

Dyffort studied composition with Franz Martin Olbrisch and Walter Zimmermann at Berlin University of the Arts.

Von den Driesch studied architecture in Mainz and free art with Inge Mahn at the Berlin-Weissensee Academy of Art while attending seminars at the Electro-acoustical Studio of Berlin Technical University. The two artists won the German Klangkunst Prize in 2006. ? www.dyffort-driesch.de

We're accustomed to defining spaces optically and describing routes with visual landmarks. Nobody says, 'Go straight ahead until you hear the robin and turn left where the jackhammer drowns out the police siren'.
